Join us as we raise critical funds & awareness for childhood cancer research! About the Course: The route begins at Christmas Hill Park (Ranch Side) and winds through parts of the Uvas Creek Levee Park Preserve, following the Uvas Creek Levee Trail. The course is mainly flat and fully paved, offering a scenic run through one of Gilroy’s most beautiful natural areas. The Race2Unravel is more than just a 5K&10k-it's a call to action for our community to come together and make a tangible impact in the fight against pediatric cancer. This inspiring event will bring together over 100 participants-fitness enthusiasts, friends, and local businesses-united in love, remembrance, and determination. By moving our bodies for a cause, we honor the children battling cancer, those we've lost too soon, and the future we are fighting to change. Pediatric cancer remains critically underfunded, receiving less than 4% of federal cancer research funding, despite being the leading cause of death by disease in children. Every single day, more than a classroom of children is diagnosed, yet treatment options remain outdated and harsh. The Race2Unravel is a powerful way to take action. By participating, donating, or sponsoring, you help fund groundbreaking research and bring hope to countless families facing the unimaginable. Together, we can turn awareness To ensure a smooth and confident experience for all participants, there will be prominent course signage and clearly marked turnaround points. And for our youngest supporters, we've added a Kids Fun Run at the end of the event on the grassy area - an opportunity for children to get involved and feel the spirit of the day. All proceeds raised will go directly to the fight against pediatric cancer.
